Our overarching goal is to explore and understand the driving forces of systemic autoimmunune diseases, especially Rheumatoid Arthritis and Lupus.

APC are of particular interest, because they have the ability to activate and regulate immune responses, making their characterization a target of autoimmune research. To do so, we use and develop novel high-dimensional flow cytometry approaches that we combine with dimensionality reduction techniques (t-SNE, UMAP) to visualize the relevant cellular populations.
